It’s a joy of mine to watch businesses grow and flourish and as I’ve been working with Imbue Weddings for the past few years I have seen their style grow and evolve. They design some amazing weddings and creations. Their keen eye pulls every element of a wedding together and keeps it cohesive – so useful if you’re wanting help or are completely overwhelmed! .
I’m such a big fan of Kristy’s gorgeous styling talents (her seasonal look books are always beautifully done). From Hamptons styling with blues and whites, to fresh spring blooms and dark autumn richness, they are appealing to any bride.

Hello!
My fiancé and I are to planning our wedding day to be held in none other than the beautiful Byron Bay next year. We would like our day to be filled with eclectic vintage inspiration, unique creative touches whilst still preserving a relaxed simplicity. We love the idea of decorating with a colour palette of cerulean, jade, turquoise and mint hues, accented with hints of clean white. We would be so excited to receive such a wonderful prize and input from Imbue Weddings!
Fingers and toes crossed!

Hi, my fiancé are planning an Australian country wedding and getting married in the same country hall as my parents, Uncles and Aunts did. My partner is English born and it will be a first time to Oz for many of his family. We see our day to be a fun, relaxed, classic version of the hall dances of yester year; gorgeous gums swaying in the spring breeze, children running around, wild native flowers scattered to enhance the natural beauty, glowing lights as the sunsets over the mountain ranges as the band starts up. We want to embrace our environment and use silvery greens, blushing pinks with cream and peach tones. We would love Imbue Weddings help guide our ideas and provide further inspiration.
Thanks!
Stacey & Andy
Our style would probably be best described as old-school elegance. Our venue is a country hall built in the early 1900’s that has been well-preserved by it’s community and has had some essential renovations (bathrooms and kitchen) to keep it up to date without losing it’s character. As far as colours we’re looking at autumn tones of reds, burnt oranges and dusty yellows which should fit in with the colouring of the hall. Basically, the venue is a huge inspiration when it comes to styling and we want the character the town and village offer to permeate through our wedding. It also features a courtyard that we want to take full of advantage of with lighting as well as being a space for younger guests to use to run around in. It will be the last evening of daylight savings so we are trying to capture that feeling of the fading summer country events of our childhoods.
We would be absolutely thrilled if Imbue Weddings could help us to achieve the styling we are after and would look forward to working with their experienced team.
Thank you!

Hello!
Our wedding day is going to be a mix of all things us. We’re starting with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and the red and gold outfits. The second part of the day will be more simple, with a ceremony just before sunset in December. Our theme is ivory and dark navy, with some contrasting colours and themes to match my favourite oriental lilies. We’d love to capture the theme of east meets west, and decorations to tie it all together. We want our wedding to feel like a big party with a lovely classic chic atmosphere, and we’d love Imbue Weddings to help us the process and give life to our ideas.
Thanks!

Ah, these are beautiful arrangements!
My lovely boy and I will be getting married in Brisbane in March 2012 – so happy to see a wedding competition we can enter!
We joke that the theme for our wedding will be ‘everyone is calm and happy’, which is starting to manifest as a summery-bohemian-tropical-garden-adventure. Our mid morning ceremony will be at a community garden (the Northey Street City Farm), with the reception a short tandem bike ride away in mum’s beautiful Queenslander.
Since it’s a summery wedding, we’ll have lots of lush greens, with some lovely hot accents of oranges, reds and a bit of magenta. The kinds of colours you see in the tropical flowers of Queensland gardens – ornamental ginger, heliconia and humble nasturtiums were always my favourites. Not really a traditional choice, but I’m sure that Imbue Weddings could come up with an elegant, but surprising, summer wedding collection.
And thank you, Polka Dot Bride, for showing us beautiful Australian weddings and vendors!
Dating since high school, we are planning a french garden affair in the gardens of a french country guest house. The french theme will centred around vintage decor, rustic accents and a soft colour palette. We really want it to be a beautiful and relaxed day for our closest friends and family to share with us.
The ceremony will be held in the gardens, where we are planning to get married under a chandelier. French provincial furniture and burlap cushions under the shaded trees for guests to relax on followed by a reception under the stars (some people think we are crazy not to have a marquee, but we just love being outdoors!)… Long tables, chiavari chairs and fresh flowers in collected vintage glassware placed in-between rustic baroque candle sticks flowing down each table. (Not to forget the silver charger plate, and white hem stitched linen napkin set out for each guest!)…
I would also LOVE to have the charm bracelet my Grandma gave to me when I was a little girl attached to my bouquet; it’s filled with charms she collected growing up in Canada and one of my most treasured possessions.
Our colour palette will include white, cream/latte, soft pinks and sugar plum. It’s through the flowers that I would really love to see this colour scheme come to life!
I could talk about the plans we have for our big day for days, but all details aside, I am so excited and blessed to be marrying my best friend.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter and share our ideas!

Our venue is a restored Australian farmhouse that has been converted into a quaint restaurant overlooking acres of farmland and with the beautiful beach and coastal views in the far background. We envisage our ceremony to be held under the arms of an 120yr old Fig Tree located on the property.
I imagine…. hessian table runners littered with different sized glass jars and vases. Unstrutured fresh flowers and leaves of varying soft colours and varieties fill these jars and adorn the rectangular tables surrounded by tea light candles. Blackboards, vintage birdcages, lace, wood and a rustic theme will resound throughout the day. Our colour palette is not specific; we imagine natural colours with bouquets full of greenery and soft shades of apricots, creams, lilac, pinks etc. All in all we hope for a fun and memorable party and a day we can cherish for the rest of our lives.

Me and my partner are planning a March 2013 wedding. I am planning my wedding as a laidback beautiful queensland beach style wedding. The frangipani has inspired me as it was the flower placed behinded my ear and also my partners ear just before we got engaged that night. I am thinking beautiful yellow frangipani flowers. pink or orange chair tie backs. the table runners will be white with pink or orange petals laided in the centre. There will be fairy lights surrounding the room, so it when me and my parnter dance it will remind me of the night we got engaged as the stars were beautiful in fiji. In the centre of each table amongst the petals there will be crystal like rocks to help make the night shinning. there also will be candles lit to shine the crystals. it will be elegant and graceful but yet symbolising me and my partners relationship. We both hope our night is filled with many beautiful memories.

Wow, what a fabulous giveaway!
My fiance and I have been together for 7.5 years, and will be tying the knot around this time next year. We’re so excited, and are really keen to make our day as personal and relaxed as we can. Even though we haven’t got all of the details for our wedding nutted out yet, we have a fairly good idea of how we’d like it. We are currently living overseas and have no way of finding venues until we’re home in a few months, but I know we’d like it to be somewhere lush – like Malaney, or Bangalow, preferably somewhere that we can spend most of our time outdoors (weather depending, of course!). I have this dream of finding a beautiful big tree to be married under, with garlands and lights hanging from the branches, our guests sitting on fabric-draped hay bales, confetti at the ready. I’d love for the reception to also be outside, under trees, with lots of green grass and candles – however I know the weather doesn’t always cooperate, so we’d probably have a beautiful round Moroccan-style marquee with open sides and lots of fairy lights (and lounges, cushions and candles!).
I’m imagining lots of natural linen, crisp white, fresh greens, and possibly mustard yellow, and I’m in love with the idea of more hap-hazard wild flower arrangements, in beautiful mis-matched jars, with berries and a variety of beautiful flowers and herbs. We don’t really want anything too formal, it should be warm and relaxed 🙂
Thank you for this opportunity!

Oops, I meant Maleny!
Hello there,
What a divine opportunity – thankyou polkadot bride & be imbued..
We are getting married next year in Paddington, Brisbane on our 10 year anniversary. Hooray!
Only a small wedding, we are committed to a relaxed and understated elegance that genuinely represents us. Our planned style is a colour palette of whites, rattan and linen, hydrangeas galore and one long wooden table to dine at, holding little menus tied up with twine.
Lots of candlelight, we will be having a delicious degustation with bubbles flowing freely for our lovely friends!
We hope our wedding day is full of laughter, celebration and most of all love. It would be simply magical if you could help style this with us.
Thankyou again for the generous opportunity, we have been so inspired by both of your lovely websites.
Best Wishes,
Becca & Andy
We are one of those unique weddings, its not possible for us to do something completely traditional because we are not the traditional. We are three ladies, wanting to make a life long commitment to each other.
A garden wedding with desserts and coffee, paper lanterns, with the sounds of the night surrounding us.
Its going to be smaller, only about 100 people that we love, and want to really share it with them.
thanks for listening!
