Bride + Groom sent over the sweet pink sweet buffet they created in their stall for the Dusk Bridal Fair a few weekends ago in Perth. I thought the little touches could give you great inspiration for your own reception.
I’m going to let Tilopa and Jemma describe their lovely setup!
“We set up a Candy Bar as one our displays and drew inspiration from Amy Atlas in the design! With Candy Bars proving to be so popular at the moment we thought it would be great to show brides + grooms some different ideas on what they might like to do. We used our Apothecary Jars + White Letters that we sell as well as some sweet tooth props! We had so much fun designing the display and we had lots of great feedback.”
“Our ornate birdcages were dotted around the booth, which proved the perfect accompaniment to our gorgeous new guest books we have in store. We’re really excited about these guest books as they look just gorgeous! We’ve had lots of requests over the past few months to find lovely guest books so we’ve worked hard to design a book which we hope will be well received.”
The girls said “Our other main display was a rustic table setting styled using our gorgeous tea light holders that we sell (pretty in pink!) as well as our jars we hire out + our fabulous black Tiffany Chairs. We designed name place tags for each chair which is a service we offer through our store. We had many girls commenting on them as they worked so well with the chairs. We also had a beautiful bouquet of peonies on the table which we sell in store – we love them as they look so real!
Finally our booth wouldn’t have been complete without our beautiful eyelet paper lanterns which were suspended across the booth. The lanterns are such a great inexpensive way to dress up an area and of course they can be used again and again!”

How do we go about ordering the guest books?
Polkadot bride – can you do a feature on guest books. Nice ones that are creative and will last are hard to find.
Hi Kellie- for the guest books contact the Bride + Groom store http://www.brideandgroomstore.com.au/ I think they’re launching them in the next few months.
But also- that’s a great post idea! We did one with ideas for guest book alternatives, but I’ll go on the hunt for some great ones!
I think the setup was beautiful. I love the little accents and the pretty in pink throughout. The chair tags were also a nice touch- and who doesn’t like a candy bar!? Great post and pictures.
What a lovely display! This would look amazing at a reception and who wouldn’t love to pick out their own candy?!? I once went to a wedding where the favors included an empty bag that you could fill up with candy from assorted jars.
Thanks for all of the lovely comments. We’ve been fortunate enough to pick up the guest books earlier than expected so if anyone is interested in purchasing one please feel free to email us! [email protected]
Many thanks Miss Polka Dot for the post!
This is candy land for sure! Looks great.
