Sara and Jordan
A sweet beachside wedding in Mt Coolum for you this afternoon! Today’s couple Sara and Jordan met at an inter school talent contest!
Sara and Jordan married at SurfAir Resort on Marcoola Beach . The couple chose the venue because it’s close to the CBD of the Sunshine Coast with a beautiful beach, restaurant and hotel.

Sara walked down the aisle to “A Moment Like This” by Leona Lewis.
Sara wore a gown from Anita’s Fashion and a bracelet from Temt and Wildfire shoes. Jordan chose a beige suit from Roger David with a Mossimo shirt.
After the kiss, Sara and Jordan performed a sand ceremony together before walking back down the aisle to “Somewhere Over The Rainbow / What A Wonderful World” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole.
Sara and Jordan tell of some of their budgeting tips. “We bought the flowers from a wholesaler, Flower Barrow. They were delivered the day before in a vase and Sara and her sisters made their own bouquets. Doing it this way, rather than getting a ready-made bouquet, saved us around $100 and we were also able to scatter the extra flowers left over onto the cake table.”
Guests were given shot glasses with hand writing done by Sara and Jordan. They had their cake made by a friend and decorated it with Guylian seashell chocolates and a sweet cake topper with dolls dressed in outfits the couple own.
Sara and Jordan celebrated with a casual reception with family and friends.
Thank you Sara and Jordan for sharing your wedding day with us! Thank you also to Julian Beattie of Kariz-Matik Photography for sending today’s images in!
