• By purchasing advertising on the Polka Dot Wedding website you agree to:
    • Complete and submit your payment and your listing details to create your banner and/or Directory listing within 2 days of your payment being submitted
    • All your information must be complete and accurate
    • Not link to, or publish any content that brings Polka Dot Wedding into disrepute
    • Polka Dot Wedding may refuse to include, or remove advertising content at any time, which is incompatible with our vision and values
    • Maintain effective security measures to ensure reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the confidentiality of any information is retained.
  • Polka Dot Wedding agrees not to use or disclose your confidential information without prior written consent unless required by the law to do so.
  • For new advertisers, advertising commences from the date of your purchased subscription on the Polka Dot Wedding website. For existing memberships prior to the new Polka Dot Wedding website, the renewal of your advertising period commences from the expiry date of your original advertising.
  • Polka Dot Wedding annual directory listings expire after 365 days. You will receive three reminder emails – two months, one month and seven days before your current subscription expires. You can then cancel or change your plan at this point. If no change is made, the system will automatically recharge on the expiry date. It is your responsibility to take the required action for the cancellation of your listing.
  • If your credit card has failed to charge, our system will attempt to charge your card again another 3 times and will remove your listing automatically if your card fails to charge after that time.
  • Polka Dot Wedding monthly listings expire one month after the payment date (for example, March 15th will expire April 15th). You will receive one reminder email seven days before your current subscription expires. You can then cancel or change your plan at this point. If no change is made, the system will automatically recharge on the expiry date. It is your responsibility to make sure that your credit card can be charged to ensure the continuation of your listing.
  • If your credit card has failed to charge, our system will attempt to charge your card again another 3 times and will remove your listing automatically if your card fails to charge after that time.  Polka Dot Wedding can take no responsibility for failed payments. We will endeavour to provide contact to allow you to update your own payment details.
  • A banner may not be purchased without a Directory listing except by written consent.
  • Advertising as a directory listing will be for the term as agreed upon by Polka Dot Wedding and the advertiser or as purchased through the Polka Dot Wedding self serve advertising system.
  • Polka Dot Wedding will take no responsibility for images or text submitted by you if errors appear; this includes incorrect information, spelling mistakes and/or grammatical errors. Polka Dot Wedding will, however, endeavour to pick up any errors and notify you immediately.
  • Polka Dot Wedding retains the right to crop and/or resize images if required.
  • Polka Dot Wedding retains the right to reject images if they are not of the standard required.
  • Polka Dot Wedding has the final say on all editorial and visual display of, but not limited to, Polka Dot Wedding’s website.
  • If purchasing a newsletter banner, competition or social media advertising outside of our self serve advertising system, Polka Dot Wedding will only hold your position open for 14 days after (written) email agreement of offer. Should there be no payment or contact within that 14 days, you will be placed on the waiting list to await another banner, competition or social media slot.
  • If paying for a package outside of our self-serve process, an invoice will be sent once the advertiser application is approved.
  • You may make your payments by credit card (Directory and petite or grande banner annual & monthly payments),  or direct deposit (Directory and petite or grande banner annual payments only). Other payments outside our Directory and banner advertising subscription system for services including but not limited to newsletter banner, brand shoots, event attendance, famils, competition or social media payments – may be via credit card or direct deposit. Payment must be received before the service is rendered.
  • If the subscription is cancelled while active, no refund will be given. Your advertisement will, however, remain live until the end of your subscription period.
  • Funds are not transferrable between directory packages, banner advertising or any other advertising including but not limited to newsletter banners, brand shoots, event attendance, famils, competition or social media advertising.
  • Polka Dot Wedding reserves the right to change pricing, policies or these terms and conditions at any time. For any current advertiser, Polka Dot Wedding reserves the right to change its pricing at the end of its advertising period.
  • It is your responsibility to advise Polka Dot Wedding of any updates to contact details, which need to be made to your listing.
  • Polka Dot Wedding cannot take responsibility for lost or ‘not received’ emails. Please ensure you add Polka Dot Wedding to your safe email address list.
  • Polka Dot Wedding reserves the right to reject, cancel, or remove any advertising from our Sites for any reason at any time. We will provide reasonable notice to the advertiser upon rejection, cancellation, or removal of any advertising. We also reserve the right to refuse any advertisement we believe is incompatible with our vision and values.
  • Polka Dot Wedding requires advertisers to abide by their own industry’s terms of conduct.
