The closer we get to the end of winter, the closer we get to all the incredible Spring collections dropping! One particular collection we want to talk about today is “Romanticism Unveiled” by Ines Di Santo. With a specific focus on individuality, emphasis on nature, emotion reigning supreme, freedom in motion and the exploration of the unknown.

This collection is a love letter to the imagination, to the expression of human creativity, amplified by modern technology. In our current digital age of algorithms, AI learning and the abundance of screens we find ourselves surrounded by at all times, Ines wanted to seamlessly blend the world of technology and human emotions in her latest collection. Each gown was artfully captured by the amazing Jessica Scott Photography.

Their main goal with this campaign was to use technology as a tool to enhance viewers’ experiences, and they did this by designing an immersive environment utilising projection mapping to showcase these gowns that celebrate heritage craft and construction.

“Showing this collection in an immersive space really allows the audience to feel my intention of emotion on a grander scale and exhibits my vision for how the future of fashion can marry the art of handcraft, storytelling, and technology.” – Ines Di Santo.

Fabric developments for their latest season led the team to adapt and really push the limits of modern embroidery and laser-cutting machines. With these developments, they created a new layered fabrication paired with hand-painted and beaded detail. They reached a new level of craft and artisanship that could never truly be substituted by machines.

From the romantic silhouettes to the luxury craftsmanship, the “Romanticism Unveiled” collection is a love story between creativity and technology. Want to see more? Shop the collection now on the Ines Di Santo website or at the exclusive Australian stockist – Love Marie.
