From the wine country to ocean-side, from the largescale to the cosiest of cosy, we’ve rounded up 6 brand new (or beautifully revamped) wedding ceremony and wedding reception venues from around Perth and regional Western Australia! Some of these diverse event spaces and locations may even take your fancy as your wedding shower, engagement, hen’s or buck’s party venue too! P.S. Want more Perth and W.A. wedding venue ideas? 1. The Claremont Hotel – Claremont
Reopening earlier this year as part of the Australian Venue Co. family, this 130+year-old pub in Perth’s Western suburbs has been charmingly restored. The Claremont has a range of areas suited to just about all types of events: from the al fresco courtyard for a sunny engagement party, to the Bay Lounge for an elegant boy’s club-style bucks do, to the classic Grevillia room for a full-blown reception with minimalist, heritage vibes with its own balcony bar. Yet our favourite spot might be the leafy Nook room for a cocktail-driven soiree among the foliage.
Capacity: 80 seated, 250 standing
2. Marriage Office Mandurah – Mandurah
Set amid the sparkling Dolphin Quay Ocean Marina, this Marriage Office is all set for smaller ceremonies, vow renewals and elopements. With sweet and simple styling the space elevates the standard registry-style wedding ceremony into something a bit more substantial yet still stress-free. We quite like the idea of getting hitched here and then floating off into the sunset on a yacht with a glass of Champagne in hand and only our closest confidantes along for the ride. Capacity: 20 seated plus 10 standing
3. Lily Farm House – Baskerville
As if a five-acre country property in the middle of Swan Valley’s wine region isn’t a charming enough spot to say ‘I do”, they grow water lilies and koi fish here too. The whole house section of the property is available to you for the day with the house itself being created from rammed earth walls, lofty ceilings and plenty of windows to let in natural light. There is also a courtyard that can host events if you’re feeling more outdoorsy and inspired by your earthy surroundings. Lily Farm House is pet-friendly too. Photography: Simone Harris
Capacity: 120 seated, 130 standing
4. Fox & Wildling Studios – Maylands
Photographer Sally Casotti believes that ceremonies, elopements and micro-weddings don’t need to be rushed. That’s why she has opened up her 120-year-old Perth studio for intimate events. On location there’s the Woodrow studio and the Atelier studio. You’ll have ready access to both. The former boutique, vintage-styled space is likely where you’ll exchange vows and the latter is designed to be a getting-ready space for the wedding party. Small-scale yet gorgeous cocktail receptions are also possible here. And it’s a beauty of a little spot for official photos too.
Capacity: seated & standing combination 30
5. The Mallard Duck – Henley Brook
Hey there lovebirds. Have you considered The Mallard Duck? This former Swan Valley pub took flight to become a dedicated wedding and events venue earlier this year. There are both indoor and outdoor spaces available to suit your style with elements like palm trees, bushy gums, lawns and lakes providing an easy, breezy vibe. Plus – with a little help from the crew at Weddings and Events Unlimited – The Mallard Duck can help you to plan and manage your entire day for a fuss-free option. Photography: Emma Pointon
Capacity: 130 seated or standing
6. Brookhamptomn Road Farm – Kirup
Plums can symbolise perseverance, hope and beauty thriving even during adversity. Pears can symbolise abundance and longevity. All very good elements that contribute to a happy, healthy marriage. So it must be a good omen to tie the know in a fruitful plum and pear orchard. You can do just that at Brookhampton Road Farm; a blank canvas wedding venue in Western Australia’s Southwest region. A fire pit, 1940’s farmhouse, forest, lake and 72 acres of real farmland are now ready and waiting for your romance-fuelled imagination.
Capacity: 150 seated or standing

I absolutely loved this post! Each venue sounds so unique and perfect for creating unforgettable memories. I’m particularly drawn to the idea of having a rustic wedding at the Barn in Whiteman Park. Thanks for sharing these fab options!
