The photography duo of Birch & Wattle Photography is based in Sydney and through their wedding images this harbour city, its harbour views, parks and magnificent gardens feature as the backdrop in their work. Their images have a painterly quality to them – the way they capture the light, the views stretching for miles, the sunlight shining through the leaves, reflections on the water – even a couple sitting on some worn steps – all have a sense of time and place and yes – grandeur to them.
