It’s a big call to say your brand is for “every body”, but Vancouver brand Aesling may have just done it.
Extending their gowns from size 0-26 and photographing their latest collection on not one but two models (one a size 2 & one a size 18), their 2023 wedding gown collection is something special. Launching six beautiful gowns, designed after eight months of careful research, consultation and feedback from not just their retailers, but their most important voice of all – their clients, the gowns continue the sophistication that they debuted back in their 2022 collection. The gowns available in comfortable fabrics – a stretch crepe and brand new liquid satin, both made to move with the wearer for ultimate ease on a wedding day. These pieces are elegant, they’re modern, and they’re each named after pioneering female architects honouring their understated shapes.
“We are extremely excited by the evolution of Aesling as a brand,” says Gaby Bayona, Founder and Creative Director of Aesling. “Our eight-month design process is led by the feedback of our most valuable partners—our clients and our retailers—so we can create striking, dramatic gowns that never sacrifice comfort and that always feel uniquely you. We take this further in the 2023 collection than ever before.”
The silhouettes are beautiful. Take “Morgan” a plunging v-neckline, a fitted mermaid skirt made of crepe or shimmering satin. There’s “Marion” a sleek-neck fitted silhouette that comes complete with romantic and detachable sheer sleeves. The designs are never fussy, always considered, always allowing the wearer to take the full glow of the spotlight in something this beautifully curated and crafted for them.
And if you fall in love with one of these gowns? The Aesling gowns are available to order from their website, and they send their beauties all over the world. Check them out here. Plus? They’ll soon be available in Australia at Moonstruck Bride!
