Does a wander through the hinterland sound like an ideal way to end the week? Today’s dream team took to the countryside, the grounds of wedding venue Valhalla to be exact, and made magic.
With boho, garden vibes in their mind, and the resident cows as the stars of the show, this was an editorial all about getting back to and embracing nature on a wedding day. Says photographer Teresa of Muse Photography, “We wanted to create a shoot that inspired couples to be in amongst that nature with a garden wedding set right on that gorgeous treelined driveway. Cows roaming, sunshine streaming through and all that dappled light.”
Model Emily Jean, wearing romantic hair and makeup by artist Empire Artistries, dressed in a watercolour purple and white Zimmermann gown, starting the shoot off in a simple, boho inspired ceremony. Stylist A Beautiful Occasion (also on flowers) creating a look that embraced all the romantic, boho vibes.
As the sun cast its dappled light, it was time for dinner. A table set with taupe linen, carried vessels filled with the same white on white blooms as Emily Jean’s bouquet. Fruit and greenery keeping the look organic, romantic, at one with nature if you will. “We wanted to keep things minimal, but unique ” explains Teresa, “Tailored to a couple who love colour, vibrancy and life – a non-traditional wedding or elopement.”
And being at one with nature? Nevermore evident than the chance to offer your bouquet of blooms up to the resident cows for a sniff (not for dinner, just yet); are we right? The sun setting over the countryside as this story played out in beautiful country style. How would you add your personal touches to this one dear reader?
