Aaron, utterly romantic, proposed to Bridget by filling their home with flowers. “I had the day off work, and I wanted it to be a big surprise. I had flowers all over the house and I was hiding in the backroom (quietly freaking out). When I heard Bridget come home after work that day I got down on one knee and she was in for a big surprise.”
And that big surprise? It’s the reason behind today’s stunning golden hour engagement session captured by Jacob Gordon Photography. The trio heading to Western Australia’s Bold Park and City beach at just the right moment of sunset for an engagement session that was at one with nature.
Apt really, because nature, and the beach to be more specific, is the setting at which these two met, says Aaron “We first met through the city of Perth Surf life-saving club. We were both part of the same training squad. Bridget was 14, I was 17 & 5 years later we were together.” Aaron and Bridget are set to wed in November 2022.
Says Aaron “We both love the beach and outdoors so it just felt right to have a photoshoot outside with nature. It was also fitting to have our beach photos at the same beach we met each other.” The photos were made even better because of the talent of their chosen photographer. “Jacob Gordon was amazing, Bridget and I had never had our photos taken before this shoot. Jacob had a way of easing our nerves and making the who experience fun. This allowed for some of the best photos we could have hoped for.”
These two? They seem so meant to be, especially when Aaron shares what they love about one another. “We both understand each other like no one else. Bridget makes me a better person and I enjoy every second that we spend together.”
