Kristen and Jairus headed to the Aussie country setting of Perry Paddock just outside of Perth for their engagement session. With Locksmith Photography joining them, and the day graced with a golden sunset, Kristen and Jairus sharing “We love the simplistic and naturalistic backdrop. These features compliment the individuals being photographed and add such a beautiful element to the photos. The photos and style of photos convey effortlessness and beauty.” The combo could not have been better to tell the story of these two lovebirds who met through their local church.

And it seems they found kindred spirits in one another, their love for all things weird, for living life with joy, completely mutual, they tell “We love that can both have a laugh and be weird together without scaring the other person. We love that the other individual is genuine and honest in how they feel and what they say. Jairus is very confident in himself and his personality while Kristen is a very honest individual (sometimes too much so).”

Jairus managed to surprise Kristen with the proposal. “Jairus popped the question on his 25th birthday during a photo shoot. He did very well considering Kristen had zero clue what was gonna go down.” The pair managed to tie the knot in January 2021.
