Ready for a day in the country? Oh don’t be fooled, today’s editorial embraces the Australian countryside, but it does so with a little more edge, a little more grit!
Captured by Victoria Baker (alongside cinematographer Life Atlas) at the beautiful Dalmore Farm, today’s dream team had a vision in mind, to create wedding inspiration that showed off the talent of the wedding vendor’s of South West Western Australia’s Blackwood Valley region. “We have such a wonderful range of businesses in the region all tailored to helping couples achieve their wedding day dreams,” explains Victoria “It felt like a natural step to bring everyone together to demonstrate just how magical a Bridgetown wedding can be.”
And magical it was! Victoria working with floral stylist Lara Rose Botanical Stylist with flowers from Lucinda’s Everlastings alongside blooms foraged from the local orchards and surrounds, to create a stunning floral inspiration that really embraced the romantic boho vibes, a dusky velvet lounge and tablescape – all pieces from Hire In Style, set amongst macrame pieces from Madre Macrame, giving ideas for your own boho turned rock and roll wedding day style.
Olivia Westcott Creative creating a boho-inspired stationery suite, to set the scene for a darn fine celebration, while Sugar Mumma created an amazing array of desserts to compliment the boho-inspired wedding cake by Lick the Spoon Baking. Says Victoria “The brief we gave was “elegant boho but with an edge”- we wanted all the involved vendors to have the opportunity to stretch their creative muscles and have fun (and we definitely did!).”
Models, real-life couple Hannah Fox and her beloved Ricky, stole the show alongside Vennessa Fredericks. Our brides both dressed in pieces from Noa Bridal Studio, with makeup by Lumiere Makeup Artistry and hair by Mel Contarino. The looks finished with sparkling pieces from Barney & Fleur. The backdrop of the floral installation, the sparkling with candlelight and blooms table setting giving all the boho vibes.
And then is something ever more ethereal about a golden sunset when you’re in the country, Vennessa wandering with the local four-legged friends, while Hannah and Ricky celebrated their “marriage” with a walk through the country fields to their own personal glamping tent- set by Southern Forests Glamping.
Editorials like this are important to us because like every other piece of wedding inspiration we share, it shows just how much you can take any setting, any style, and combine them to be yours. So if you’re a little rock and roll, love cowboy boots, wear plenty of black and have a penchant for lush florals, take your cues right here!
