We’re forever discovering new brands around here and today, we’re shouting out to a brand, that like many, has had a bit of a rubbish 2020. Beirut label, THYM, founded by Rebecca Zaatar, had her studio (along with her home) destroyed in the Beirut blasts. Now, the brand is rebuilding, launching an online store (that ships to our very shores of Australia) and today, we’re delighted to introduce you to this stunning brand.
Debuting in 2016, and after a background of working with designer Elie Saab for over seven years, this brand has become known for its bold feminine designs. The pieces full of texture, of colour, of
There isn’t just bridal white here either. Think zesty orange, hot pink, even polka dots, plenty of pre-wedding, bridesmaid, and walk down the aisle styles to choose from. And each piece? You can completely personalise them through the website (from the comfort of your couch of course!) adjusting sleeve length, bodice and skirt cuts – even the colour.
“Adore You” in her soft, antique rose with delicate sparkles is a favourite, her ruffly neckline just the ticket for a kitchen tea. “Get Free” of sparkly mesh, so very apt for your dance floor boogie. Tulle heavy “Basic need” an elegant, blood-red gown a statement aisle piece. These? They’re definitely gowns you’ll wear again!
