Michele & Will

Where Are They Now?

Tell us about your wedding?

We were married 18th April 2015 in Fremantle at Kidogo Arthouse at Bathers Beach Fremantle. It was a beautiful warm sunny day surrounded by close friends and family.

Now that some time has passed, what would you differently?

Maybe we might have invited a few more guests but apart from that, we were happy with the day.

What was the memorable moment of your wedding day?

We loved the whole day and to be with family we hadn’t seen in a long time, to have our friends from China be in Fremantle to share the day along with some of our closest friends. And of course, getting to marry your best mate.

What advice do you have for others planning their wedding?

To not stress, planning a wedding should be about just the two of you, not anyone else so plan what you want and enjoy every moment because it’s all over in the blink of an eye.

Did you have any vendors you absolutely adored and still remember?

Yes, Fox and Rabbit Florist, Kent Street Deli, Our marriage celebrant Jane Bartlett, the photographer Nicolle Versteeg, the venue Kidogo Arthouse, plus the Hougoumont Hotel plus the stylist Stacey Clarke of SCS Weddings all made our day amazing.

If you could do it all over again, what would your wedding look like?

I don’t think it would look any different just a few more guests. It was exactly as we wished for.

Where has life taken you? What are you up to now?

We had an amazing honeymoon several months later in the US & Mexico, hot air ballooning over Napa Valley, roaming around San Francisco and an amazing highland Tequila tour in Guadalajara in the Jalisco province ending it in Playa Del Carmen and roaming the pyramids in Tulum and snorkelling the underground Cenotes. We moved back to Australia from China and recently purchased our first home together in Fremantle. We are still travelling and roaming the planet as much as we can.

What is the secret to your marriage?

Just being yourself and never taking anything too seriously.
