Claire is always our go-to when it comes to femininely designed, utterly beautiful wedding gowns and “Evolution” is all about not just her own transformation as a designer over the years, but the transformation that we go through as we enter marriage ourself. She tells “We all go through many changes in life, and marriage marks one of those moments where vows and promises are recited, and we instantly transform from single to married. And although one could argue that the bride is still the same person, the reality is, that a shift has occurred, and she has entered a new stage in her evolution.”

And it is with this transformation, this shift, that Claire draws her inspiration. Heirloom embroideries, ethereal tulles all honouring those forgotten memories, the old time world we have all packed away. This is where it shines, where it sees the light, and where it comes to life.

There are beautiful laces, as always with Claire, in this collection – think Chantilly laces, French tulles with beautiful floral embroideries, beaded tulles and metallic detail. Each is beautifully layered and thought out to the very tiniest detail – a scalloped neckline, an embellished train, an iridescent sash, an illusion back. Take “Leila” she’s made of Chantilly lace with beautiful hand-beaded floral appliqué details and a sheer back. Of “Dawn” a gown of french embroidery with sheer illusion style back, flutter sleeves and an overskirt of sparkling silver tulles.
