Emily & Caleb
I love nothing more than the quiet of sunrise when the promise of hope is still new, the air is still and the noise so very quiet. It seems like this is the time that was made for new beginnings. For Emily and Caleb, who chose sunrise by the water for their engagement session with Wander & Follow Images it was a beautiful way to capture their story, which began at church!
Emily shares the tale. “We met at church in a youth team leader meeting. He saw me from across the room!”
It was during the setting of the sun, this time, that Caleb popped the big question. “Caleb proposed to me in Sydney, he surprised me with the proposal, I didn’t think he was going to propose until November so it was a lovely surprise. We spent the day exploring Sydney and wandering through the botanical gardens. Caleb proposed to me at sunset in the Sydney Harbour. My family was there which made it even more special. Funnily enough, he hid the ring in my dad’s luggage. It was so perfect.”
Laughter is the theme of Caleb and Emily’s relationship, tells Emily. “We have had a lot of awkward drive through moments! Let’s just say I’m good at embarrassing Caleb. For example, dropping the key card as I was going to pay, picking it up off the car floor and beeping my horn in the process, the best part was I thought it was the car behind me.”
On what they love about one another, the bride shares “We make each other laugh every day. I love that Caleb loves God and that he is the centre of our relationship.”
