Elisse & Damon

“I asked Damon to marry me using the good old fashioned yes, no, maybe tick boxes at the end of a scrapbook”. it should come to no surprise to those that know Elisse and Damon that it was, in fact, the bride to be that popped the question. The pair, who met at work, took a little while to find their feet and then, in their very words “the stars aligned” and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

With a fierce love of the beach (the setting where they take Santa photos year in year out) the pair decided to switch it up, enlisting photographer Gez Xavier Mansfield Photography to join them in Newcaatle’s industrial precinct, graffiti clad walls, cement pavements and the grittiness of the setting contrasting for something very romantic.

Life is about love for these two, in fact, it’s just that everything that is what Elisse loves about Damon. “I love Damon’s humour, his mighty fine looks and his laugh, it’s the laugh that makes you laugh harder.”

“I love Elisse’s passion for various things, no wait, for everything” admits the groom of his future wife. “I love the way that she makes me laugh and I love the way that she mums (we have two daughters).”
