There is a place for minimalism, for restrained curated, weddings, but sometimes? You’ve just got to go glam!
It’s exactly that, that today’s editorial set out to do. Set in a beautiful country winery, the team took a space that is typically thought of for rustic, country weddings into something truly decadent, something lush and something unforgettable.
Choosing the beautiful venue Mr Barval, our dream team, led by the amazing Miriam Avery packed the space full of sparkle, choosing decadent crystal chandeliers, alongside lush garlands of greenery from Cape Events to adorn the clear marquee space.
Long, wooden rectangular tables were set with contrasting blue crockery and glassware, bone cutlery and gold charger plates from Turquoise Table. Clear glass candelabras added luxe detail the table amongst fresh, lush arrangements of pink and red blooms with plenty of fresh greenery. Each golden chair adorned with its own fresh flowers., And when you go glam, the cake has to follow, so Edible Art skillfully created a seven-tier masterpiece in gold and white, topped with ivy and fresh flowers. And of course, the flowers were everywhere – greenery garlands draped beautifully from the marquee and the ceremony arbour, the head table covered in its own beautiful floral wall. And of course, each table was also adorned.
Miriam telling of the concept “Romantic and opulent in the big outdoors. Bold but bright colours with crystal and gold influences. We wanted to portray that you can have luxury in the Australian bush. We wanted to convey the lush setting surrounded by gum trees proving that you can never have enough flowers. ”
