sharing vessle 2aItalians tend to go big with their love of life, so when it comes to celebrating all things Italia we simply couldn’t resist sharing this larger-than-life, shared Dolce Vita Cocktail by family-run Italian eatery Criniti’s. Their Woolloomooloo restaurant in particular is suited to huge celebratory feasts; seating 420 people across two levels. And they’ve just launched a Sunday brunch menu across all of their spaces, which is super generous and takes Italian hospitality to impressive heights (hello doughnut fries and breakfast pizza!) It would be lovely for a morning after brunch reception.

Filled with fruit, their Dolce Vita cocktail tastes of summer in Sicily. Plus it makes enough to share with your friends and family. If you can’t find an oversized Colosseum vessel to serve it in, any large bowl with do.

Criniti’s Dolce Vita

500ml red wine

30ml brandy

30ml Cointreau

30ml orange juice

60ml lemonade

Fresh peaches, oranges and rockmelon (sliced) and grapes

Add fruit and all liquor directly into an airtight container and stir. Seal and refrigerate overnight. Gently mix and serve in a fancy vessel! Top with extra fruit if you like. Serves 4.
