Tania Maras always blows us away with her delicate, beautiful handmade veils, hairpieces and jewels and her new collection “Secret garden” shows off her love of ancient French palaces, and their overgrown gardens, of sunsets and wide open skies – all curated into a collection that speaks of carefully considered intricacy.
The “Secret Garden” collection centres around delicate silver pieces with touches of blush and indigo. “Aesop” features three bands of delicately crystal studded vines, “Cambridge” a delicate crystal crown, echoes the lines of finding flower buds.
There are, of course, veils too – “Loren” our favourite, beaded with beautiful pearls, while “Margaux” features delicate crystals, glinting and sparkling and speaking of the designer’s inspiration of the evening sky.
She remarks “I was inspired by the beautiful gardens of the Palace of Versailles I kept travelling to in my mind. I couldn’t escape the delicate, yet opulent details. My mind’s eye kept visualising vines growing, weaving and entwining. I was drawn in by roses and delicate blossoms and how their raw beauty could be shaped and trained.”
Love Find Co created three different beautiful shoots, with their own individual looks – choosing gowns from Karen Willis Holmes, Moira Hughes Bridal Couture & Marquise Bridal and Mae’s Sunday to complement Tania’s ethereal, romantic style.
The first, beautifully captured by Keepsake Photography with hair and makeup by Madeup by May.
The second was captured by Sarah Fountain Photography with hair and makeup by Petr Vackar.
