When the photos of the Paolo Sebastian Wildflowers 2017 Spring/Summer 2017 Collection landed in our inbox, it was just another reason it is so easy to see why Adelaide designer, Paul Vasileff continues to make jaws drop around the world.
Shimmering tulle, iridescent beading and the most beautiful floral embroidery all speaks to the magic of wildflowers. And so it should. Paul was inspired by the visual of a stunning Summer afternoon picking wildflowers, the embroidered handstitching echoing the beauty of flowers caught in the wind.
In beautiful shades of nuage, magnolia and peach blossom, the collection, highlighted with beautiful lily of the valley, forget-me-not and dandelion wisp embroidery, the gowns billow and float behind their wearers. Ballgown skirts, plunge necklines, the detail weaving its way across the wearer’s body – staying true to the designer’s care of the finest attention to detail.
The Paolo Sebastian Wildflowers 2017 Spring/Summer 2017 Collection is available now.
Beautiful fabric and designs but why do they have to be so see through?? I mean you can wear a under bra thing and still have it blend in…
The sheer trend was very in 5 years ago when this collection came out. Often what you see on the runway will end up being lined in real life.
