Chelsey & Rob
The desert plains of Las Vegas set the scene for Chelsey and Rob’s Las Vegas destination wedding. The couple, who met through a mutual friend, Tony Evans was there to capture the hot, sunshine filled day. Chelsey and Rob wanted their wedding to not just be one day, hiring a Las Vegas homestead and inviting their friends and family from across the world to join their celebrations.
Chelsey chose the beautiful “Valentine” gown by Jane Hill as her wedding dress.
Of their photographer, Rob remarks “Anthony was unbelievable, very organised and clear on what we needed to do before the wedding and made the day awesome, best thing he did was convince us to bear the 40 degrees heat and head out to the desert for some pre-wedding shots, they could not have come out better!”
Chelsey and Rob chose a private homestead, Red Rock Mansion Las Vegas for their wedding, noting “Red Rock Ranch was found online as we wanted a place that our friends and family could both stay and enjoy the day and recovery!”
The bride and groom walked down the aisle to Sam Smith’s “Latch”.
Pastor Shane officiated the ceremony, Rob noting “We wanted a very relaxed, fun and quick ceremony. We chose to have no readings.”
Guests enjoyed an outdoor celebration catered by Diamond Events “Our caterer Maurice from Diamond Events and his staff were so accommodating, as we had minimal time before the wedding to set the house up there were many things we hadn’t thought of and they went out of their way to make things run very smoothly! They even brought over lunch for our recovery and didn’t charge us!”
Rob remembers “Being an overseas wedding, I had the awkward position of meeting my father in law for the first time just after I had married his daughter! It was great to finally meet them!”
Rob tells “There was no first dance, we had a DJ and most of our friends were up dancing first!”
Congratulations Chelsey and Rob! Thank you for sharing your day with us, thank you also to Tony Evans for sharing today’s celebration!
