I must say the colour of this week’s Cocktail Friday – the Rums n Roses from the newly re-opened Bellevue in Sydney’s Paddington – was the first thing that attracted me; the beautiful orange embellished with a vibrant pink floral garnish looks so chic! And then I spied the list of ingredients – even better! The combination of rums with rose and agave syrups finished with apple juice was just too good to resist! Enjoy for pre – dinner drinks!
Ingredients:
30ml Appletons 12YO
15ml Mount Gay Eclipse
15ml rose syrup
7.5ml agave syrup
20ml lime juice
45ml cloudy apple juice
Garnish: edible flower or rose petal
Method:
Add all the ingredients to a shaker. Shake hard and double strain into a modern coupe. Float the flower or petal in the centre.
