I love these shots of Gerard as he prepares for his big day – particularly the one with him and his groomsman; it just captures what he and Leah’s beautiful wedding was all about – a very relaxed and laid back celebration.
I’m not sure whether Gerard’s groomsman has finished getting ready and is returning a borrowed ironing board….or whether someone has forgotten to iron their shirt and it’s a last-minute dash before the boys’ wedding car arrives…
Never the less, just as we seem to have our checklists finalized with not a detail left to chance… let’s not forget that the groom and his groomsmen probably need one too. Items to remember on the wedding day include….suit, tie, buttonhole, socks, shoes….copy of speech, aftershave, ‘Dutch courage’ – and wedding rings (vitally important!)
Whilst most grooms don’t like being ‘overly organized’ by their fiances, a little hand written checklist never goes astray….you never know when he might need an ironing board!
