A new experience has arrived in Smith Street, Collingwood with the uniquely crafted underground Tiki bar, Aloha Sailor. With edible garnishes including passionfruit caviar (yum!), there are eight Tiki-inspired tropical cocktails to choose from; this week for Cocktail Friday we can’t wait to try the Donn Beach Mai Tai!
Ingredients:
30mls Appleton 8YO
20mls Havana Club Blanco
15mls Cointreau
15ml lime juice
30ml grapefruit juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1tsp sugar
1 dash Absinth/Pernod if you have it
Method:
Shake with ice and strain into a double rocks glass full of ice (crushed if you have it)
Garnish:
4 large mint leaves
