Happy Monday Dotties! I am still not sure whether it is quite Summer or Autumn but you can bet I’ve been wearing scarves and woollies for the past week. What about you? Summer or Winter lovers?
Before we kick off our own week of happy wedding inspiration it’s time to highlight, spotlight and show off the members of Ms Polka Dot’s Directory. We have Entertainment, we have Menswear we have Celebrants we even have Hair & Beauty! We work really hard to get vendors on board who are lovely – they’re excited to share a cup of tea and help you plan the best wedding day possible!
Check out Ms Polka Dot’s Directory for wedding vendors who will love your wedding as much as you!
Want a beautiful wedding gown? Let me introduce you to Moira Hughes Couture! Designer Moira graduated from a London fashion school where she learned from only the best and soon headed to Sydney to begin her own couture label.
Who doesn’t want to slip into their wedding gown and feel it is absolute perfection? Each gown from Moira Hughes Couture is tailored exactly to your body shape with adjustments made by highly trained experts to suit your vision. Beading, exquisite silks and laces all go into making each gown a work of art to be treasured long after your wedding day.
My favourite after work drink at the moment has to be Malibu, Pineapple and Lime! It tastes like summer holidays!
Your favourite weekend getaway?
My favourite weekend get-away is a little place outside of Sydney called Pearl Beach. Not many people have heard of it so it is the perfect place to relax, swim under waterfalls, walk along the beach and hit the re-set button. I always come back feeling reinvigorated!
Favourite restaurant?
My new favourite restaurant is the Winery! I have been there a few times now and the service has always been as amazing as the food. There is something for everyone on the menu, just really simple dishes cooked perfectly.
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Sunday morning is strictly work free and usually spent with my other half in one of Bondi’s quirky cafes! I order something different every time but always with Irish Morning Tea – I’m a huge fan!
Your favourite wedding story?
My favourite wedding story involves a bride who had always been a bit of a tomboy and had never actually worn a dress before her wedding dress! I remember receiving the most beautiful card from her to say slipping on her wedding dress on the day of her wedding, after all the fitting and designing, was the first time she ever felt feminine and beautiful. Even her new husband popped in one day to thank us for giving his wife such an incredible experience – that is a story that will always stay with me!
