The scene of a romantic homestead wedding is always one I love. The gardens creating a beautiful backdrop, the home filled with old world charm, so today’s inspiration design of romantic homestead wedding ideas is packed full of sweet moments that you can translate into your own celebration.
Photographer Kylie from Just For Love Photography teamed up with When Freddie Met Lilly , Willow Tree Creative, She Designs Interiors, Cartamodello Papeterie, Steff Matheson Makeup Artist, Joshua Withers, Francesca’s Flowers, Covered Linen and Two Guys Bow Ties at Gabbinbar Homestead, Toowoomba
Photographer Kylie tells, “Growing up in Toowoomba, yet never really seeing it through my lens, inspired me to create an inspiration shoot that highlights how beautiful a wedding in Toowoomba can be. Hosted at Gabbinbar Homestead with a gorgeous real life couple, a dreamy lace gown and a whole lot of love… this shoot was made complete with the simple, rustic touches. Who wouldn’t love a honey jar favour?”
Joshua Withers performed a mock ceremony against a ribbon backdrop. He and the groom wore wooden bow ties from Two Guys Bow Ties.
The bride and bridesmaids (who were friends of “bride” Ebony) wore gowns by When Freddie Met Lilly.
After the original cake vendor pulled out of the shoot, Kylie’s mum stepped in and whipped up a three tier naked cake filled with cream and topped with berries. Kylie remembers, “If anything, it added warmth and even more love to the shoot and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! The show must go on as they say!”
The cake is perfect! Great inspiration!
