Ever felt like no matter what goes on in your head, no matter what your intentions are, life goes on regardless of your plans? Today, I write this with my foot in a (very cold) ice bath after twisting my ankle in a netball game. More than the soreness and the swelling I absolutely hate the feeling of being powerless. Where’s that control I’ve been clinging to?
Not everything goes to plan. This is one lesson that life keeps on trying to teach me. Perhaps it’s time I learned it, accepted it and stopped trying to be responsible for everything and everyone. Maybe that way I might actually enjoy the process which in the end is what it’s all about.
Here’s to enjoying the ride!
