It’s the final Desperately Seeking of the year on Polka Dot Bride and we have some epic questions and hunts on the go for our readers! Can you help? Leave a comment!
Bride #1 is searching for a wedding location in the Southern Highlands. Her criteria? A large open space suitable for a marquee, near the water and must allow her own suppliers!
Bride #2 is looking for find some catering options for her wedding (70 guests) in Brisbane, QLD region that is super nice to her budget! She’s open to spit roast or buffet options and is looking for recommendations for economical options that are no fuss and great food!
Bride #3 is looking for a venue in the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula or Southern Highlands. She and her fiance love the style of a winery wedding or country estate but want something with clean decor (ie ceiling draping and maroon carpet are on their no go list). They love venues like Stones Of The Yarra Valley, Port Phillip Estate and Hopewood Estate but those are either booked or unavailable. Do you have any ideas?
Bride #4 is looking for ivory flats for her second pair of shoes. Any ideas of places to look?
Bride & Groom #5 are looking for a wedding venue in country Victoria that will allow them to self cater. Their other criteria includes:
– on a budget
– outdoor/garden
– with a place to retreat if it rains
Bride #6 is a new bride from Melbourne looking for great Northern NSW wedding venues, she’s open to anything!
Can you help our dotties? Leave a comment with your knowledge below!
Bride #5 – check out Providence Gully. It’s just outside daylesford and absolutely lovely. Very reasonably priced too and Clare the owner is a dream to work with! There’s an olive grove, apple orchard and a beautiful barn in case of inclement weather.
We can’t wait to get married there!
Bride #3: Try Sutherland Estate in Dixons Creek, or Killara Estate in Seville East (both Yarra Valley locations). These two venues are modern with clean and simple decor. Views at both properties are amazing and are both reasonably priced 🙂
Check out Shoes of Prey. You can design your own!!! They are very reasonably priced, Australian made and just lovely! I can’t wait to wear mine on my own wedding day!! Hope this helps!
Bride #4 – Check out Kate Spade. She has a whole series of bridal shoes. I wore her Flambe ballet flats last year and they were ridiculously comfy! Best wishes 🙂
Bride #4 – you should check out Johanna Johnson for her Audrey ballet flats. They’re beautiful, I think they’re about $180. I’m thinking of wearing mine for the whole day! Enjoy! X
Bride #1- I know this is incredibly too late for Bride #1 but for anyone looking at having a marquee wedding in the Southern Highlands, the hire company YES | Your Event Solution has 2 permanent marquees onsite at GrowWild and Hillview. This link has photos and packages available: http://www.youreventsolution.com.au/onsite.php

Hi Bride #4! Good idea!
Our thoughts for Melbourne shoes in ivory would be the following:
Myer
David Jones
These two always have a huge selection of different makes and designers to choose from in their shoe department. Huge!
Also, we love http://www.bellissimabridalshoes.com/Flats-Prodlist.html for a big selection.
Good luck!
Here’s one for Bride #5!
We had a similar request that we covered in a previous callout – check out our suggestions here!
