Okay hot spot time, where we start the conversation about the icky stuff.
Today it’s about how far you go to host your guests for your wedding. I’ve heard it all – from the argument that guests are adults and don’t need anything but the wedding planned as an event. Others believe the wedding is an occasion where guests should be looked after from the moment they arrive – hosting dinners, providing tourist ideas, recommendations, recovery brunches and the like.
So what are you doing? What do you believe as a guest at a wedding? What do you think you’ll do for your own guests?
I would go as far as offering tourist attractions and accommodation recommendations but ultimately they are adults and can look after themselves. It’s stressful enough to organise a wedding but having to constantly ‘babysit’ your guests is a bit much. If they want to be waited on then they can save the money, not go to the wedding and book into a resort.
