This week one of our amazing Cloud Parade shop owners (typologie and co) teamed up with us to make this cute DIY ribbon cake bunting tutorial. Adding a festive touch to any kind of wedding cake and completely on trend- ombre and pretty ribbon!

You will need

  • Scissors
  • Cake
  • Skewers
  • Ombre Ribbon

 

Step One

Cut several 14 inch strips of each colour of ribbon

Step Two

While alternating colours, tie each ribbon using a “crow hitch” knot.

Step Three

Carefully cinch each knot in the same direction

Step Four

Once secure, insert each skewer into the cake and let the ribbon dangle

Step Five

Trim ribbon to the desired length

 

Step Six

Done!
