Happy Monday Dotties! I have a beautiful candle burning as I write this and I am settled into my desk chair for another week of writing, exciting projects and plenty of wedding inspiration! Are you settled in, coffee at the ready?
Monday morning tradition at Polka Dot Bride is to shine a spotlight bright on a randomly chosen member of our fab wedding directory, Ms Polka Dot’s Directory. But before we get into our randomly chosen vendor of the week, be sure to head on over and take a peek at some of our fabulous members! We have fantastic celebrants, the most divine of wedding cake artists, hair & beauty, stationery & paper goods and so much more. We add new vendors every week and our members are always updating their portfolios with their best and freshest work. So take a moment to check it out!
I love my stationery- if my favourite store goes on sale I’m the first one there and you can bet I’m always searching for the most perfect greeting card for the next birthday on my list. SO I love seeing what stationery elements and designs you can bring into your wedding!
Today’s vendor of the week Cocoa Berry Design creates amazing stationery for weddings and events. From their “Off The rack” collection, to something a little more custom, Cocoa Berry Design create everything from the first step- the Save The Date to menus, maps and place cards. Personally I adore “Fragrance” (third above) for a gorgeous Spring, garden wedding.
We asked Lucy From Cocoa Berry Design five questions in five minutes –
What is your favourite after five drink?
That would have to be a refreshing non alcoholic Pimms! Reminds me of my days in London….
Your favourite weekend getaway?
We love heading down to the Mornington Peninsula – it feels like you’ve really managed to get out of the city and yet it’s so close by that you don’t need to travel for too long!
Favourite restaurant?
Loving Movida, right in the heart of Melbourne – it’s just THE BEST tasting Spanish food a girl could ask for!
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Good old classic eggs benedict or perhaps a salmon and cream cheese bagel… mmmmm!
Your favourite wedding story?
Such a cliche but probably my own wedding story! After my husband proposed to me out on Waiheke Island in NZ, we got married last year… We were surrounded by friends and family back in my parents home town in the Wairarapa, NZ. The ceremony was in a classic small white church on top of a hill top, followed by a gorgeous reception on a local vineyard… magic!
