Good morning Dotties! Did you have a lovely weekend? I spent it inside catching up on TV shows I have missed and trying to get the first lot of wrapping up and cosy cooking in for the year. I’m looking forward to this week- we have plenty of content, even if we’re about to head into a four day weekend!
Monday morning tradition at Polka Dot Bride is to shine a spotlight bright on a randomly chosen member of our fab wedding directory, Ms Polka Dot’s Directory. But before we get into our randomly chosen vendor of the week, be sure to head on over and take a peek at some of our fabulous members! We have fantastic celebrants, the most divine of wedding cake artists, hair & beauty, stationery & paper goods and so much more. We add new vendors every week and our members are always updating their portfolios with their best and freshest work. So take a moment to check it out!

I adore a good wedding film, give me a cup of something hot and I’ll be cosied up watching them all day, and tissues. Plenty of tissues. For me, a wedding film is not so much for the couple, but for their children and the generations to come- watching grandma and grandpa dance their night away, watching friends and family they’ve never met, in movement. I love a still photograph, but there is something different about a film and I’m a big fan of the art of a good one!
I’m especially a fan of this week’s vendor of the week No Limit Pictures who is incredibly talented at capturing the moments of the wedding day without any ‘cheese’. Just as it happened and as beautiful as it was.
We asked Daniel from No Limit Pictures five questions in five minutes –
Your favourite weekend getaway?
Favourite restaurant?
Crinitis, Darling Harbour.
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Bacon + Eggs.
Your favourite wedding story?
We had the great pleasure of filming the lovely Laura & Stu in sunny Wollongong a few weeks ago. Their day was full of surprises, with a very special mention to all the great gifts that were handed out to each other. It really was a nice gesture from the the bride and groom. Something a little special before they meet is a great idea.
We also loved how Laura’s grand dad walked her down the aisle as well as having a special dance with her on the night. Both of these times were really special moments to be captured, which we believe really shows what kind of couple Laura and Stu are. Loving, caring and kind!
