I’ve always been inspired by the eclectic use of colours, patterns and prints from Australian designer Alannah Hill. Sometimes it’s like entering a kaleidoscope of colours and as you reveal the layers- pieces come to life. Incredible hair accessories, sweet coats, coloured cardis.

I’m often peeking in store for gorgeous bridesmaid or bridal accessories- with my love for coloured shoes and different accessories there are plenty in store and then there’s the gowns. Floor length numbers are just right for bridesmaids or for a bride wanting something off the rack and different while the cocktail frocks are pretty and feminine with plenty of sweet details.

The Autumn/Winter 2013 collection is frilled with the colour and whimsical flair that Alannah is known for. Plenty of cardigans for winter brides and bridesmaids, lacy accessories like gloves and of course, there are never enough polka dots!
