I stumbled across these gorgeous, whimsical creations from San Francisco designer Madeline Trait this week (you can find more of Madeline’s incredible floral design, event design and art on her website) in her Etsy foray The Shoppe by Madeline Trait. I love the modern whimsy in her creations. So beautiful hand cut from wood, metal and paper creating such a fun way to decorate your wedding.
Madeline has a background in interior design and architecture and is a self taught florist, bringing a sense of thoughtful detail to her wedding decor collection. Most of her current designs are cut from wood veneer which can be left plain of painted by you.I love the thought of the shadows these might cast with candlelight! What I really love is that Madeline’s collection is always evolving and changing, so her pieces really are limited and there’s always something new and beautiful.
If you like a dash of colour- there’s beautifully painted versions of the cake toppers.
And shiny metal “Happily Ever After” cut outs. I love this one for an industrial chic celebration.
Oh and on a side note, I would love to see a wedding where guests wear paper crowns as spectacular as this.
