Inspired by the Mediterranean, Australian stationery boutique Alannah Rose has released their new Cruise Collection Spring/Summer 2012. The collection echoes the traditional tiles and patterns of these exotic countries, with the freshness and life of the colours designer, Suzi Waters has infused.
Consisting of three new designs, the range includes the cool blues of the Mediterranean sea and hot pinks of summer.
Each design has a range of coordinating stationery pieces (from seating charts, place cards to even thank you cards). As with most Alannah Rose designs, couples can change the designs to any of the colours on the Alannah Rose colour chart to suit their wedding.
Marry Me Morocco echoes the clear blues of traditional Moroccan tiles. The pattern has a delicacy and the monogram, with it’s whispery curved font, adds a softness.
Mediterranean Muse has a more simple monogram design, but the background is so Mediterranean and the modern striped border (which becomes the focal pattern of the information side of the design) adds a modern and clean edge.
Sweet Rococco smells of summer with it’s sweet watermelon pink and touches of blue. I love the detail of the pattern in this design which reminds me of the intricacy and care taken in traditional hand painted Moroccan tiles.
