These happy, whimsical wedding invitations from Starry Night Design & Paperie have really caught my fancy this week. From the bright bold colours like apple green and corals, to the little touches like bakers twine and date tags. So fun for couples looking for something a little modern, a little fun and very stylish.
This dandelion invitation in sweet apple green was designed for a Spring time wedding. With the addition of a handwriting font, and the dandelion blowing in the wind, it sets the scene for a fun, festive and elegant wedding.
With the bride and her recently passed father sharing a love of planes, and a desire for something different than a standard wedding design, this invitation suite was designed with pale blue skies, fluffy white clouds and airplanes. The suite was delivered tied together with black and white bakers twine in Kraft paper envelopes.
Yellow, black and white was the colour scheme for this hen’s invitation which was commissioned by the guest of honour’s bridesmaid. An old Hollywood feel was meshed with a modern feeling. Clean, bold lines and the chic colour palette complimented the bridesmaid’s vision for a big night out.
I love the bold, retro florals in this next invitation. The bride, a lover of typography was wanting a coral colour scheme. The vivid yellow and soft blue was paired with Kraft paper brown envelopes and tied with bakers twine.

I thought I recognised those gorgeous invites! Rachel & Brad were one of David’s Sydney couples from March. Love the colours & they were the perfect compliment to the bridesmaids frocks. Beautiful!
Beautiful invites. I have a real thing for twines at the moment. And the retro print on the last one, gorgeous!
