Flor and Brett

This engagement shoot won me over straight from the start. Instead of enveloping the sun and golden blue skies of the beach, photographer Alma Photography captured the beach at it’s moodiest. With grey skies, silver waters and a combined love of surfing- this is the quintessential Australian love affair!

The couple tell their story. “When Flor moved to Australia from Argentina in the search of waves and work as a designer, she met Brett through a mutual friend who suggested he, an industrial designer, may have some insight into finding work.  Little did she know, Brett was, and is, even more obsessed with surfing than she.

Deciding to marry was easy.  The two have been inseparable ever since (aside from fleeting occasions when they cannot agree on where to surf).

Whilst they both share a passion for the sea, it is the inspiration they provide each other that ultimately fuels their love.  ‘The happy couple’ look forward to sharing their love of surfing and design together and with anyone else who may arrive in their  lives for many years to come. ”
