Nikki and Danny
Imagine having your engagement photographs taken on salt flats. Where the ruggedness and worn feeling of the land is such a juxtaposition against two people newly engaged and very much in love. This engagement shoot took place in St Kilda, South Australia right near the salt flats and was shot by White Wall Photography.
Nikki and Danny are childhood sweethearts. Nikki tells their story. “I was 15 and Danny was nearly 18, we knew of each other because we went to the same school, but had never spoken to each other before.
We met at Wetzels Pretzels where I was working at my first job ever. He started about 6 months after me. We connected instantly and became great friends and after a few months we started dating. We knew very early that we wanted to be with each other forever and get married, but because we were so young, that was going to be a long way down the track.
In June 2011 we went to Bali, I knew a proposal would be sometime soon but did not have a clue it was happening in Bali. It was so romantic and he made me a book with a variety of tasks in it to complete, and if they were completed I received rewards (e.g. perfume, picture book of us etc) and the last one was finding a shell on the beach in Bali, and that is where he got down on one knee. He planned it all out so well and it took months. I was crying the whole entire time, and was very overwhelmed. ”
thank you so much for featuring our work 🙂 🙂
