It was such a treat to receive these images of the Gwendolynne Summer 2011/12 collection recently. I find Gwendolynne’s designs quite intriguing – there is a darker edge to them, but this sense that they have been carefully thought out with a mood of wearable art.
Gwendolynne is inspired by history. She loves to search second hand stores for a treasure but is as equally inspired by her surroundings – flora and fauna along the Yarra River cited as her latest!
I love French lace so am thrilled to see a plethora of it in the latest collection. It’s crafted onto the gowns in beautiful hues – mochas, soft pinks and silvery blues. What I love most about Gwendolynne, apart from her use of spidery lace and amazing detailing is her daring-ness to pair black with the creamiest of ivories or a fine black lace over a simple very bridal silhouette.

My dress is currently being made by Gwendolynne and I have to say that she is an absolute delight to work with, and it feel like an honour to be wearing one of her exquisite gowns. What a talented lady!
In the end of NOV. I feel a little cold. But even cold, give me a chance to wear such fancy wedding dresses, I will say:”Absolutely Yep!!!” I like the last one, because its semi-transplant and in black color~
