My & Janssen
My & Janssen came to photographer myfotobox for a “Bonnie & Clyde” style engagement shoot. Touring Sydney for the best location, they decided that to suit their 1930s feel, having their photographs with steam trains would work beautifully for the look and feel they wanted for their photographs. I love the sassy nature of these shoots with the old school glamour!
My recalls how Janssen proposed. “We had been dating for well over 6 years when he decided to pop the question last year on April 3rd 2010. It was a beautiful sunny Easter Long Weekend. Driving past Roseville Bridge we decided to stop by the water and BBQ to have a lazy lunch together. Following this we drove to Palm Beach where we made a crazy 45 minute trek to a lighthouse, where Janssen got down on his knees and proposed.”

Today’s weddings are unique and personal. A personalized aisle runner helps distinguish a wedding right from the first moments of the ceremony The new wedding runners are woven from tear-resistant white rayon and are available in seven distinct personalization styles. Two of the new runners allow couples to have their names and a single initial monogram printed on the fabric, while the other designs are printed with the couple’s names and the date of their wedding. Couples can select from a variety of ink colors for each design to further customize the look of their wedding aisles decorations.

Oh this idea is great, love the old train! What fun to dress up and still be tastefully stylish
Such a unique, beautiful and fun engagement shoot! I’ve been fortunate enough to not only work with My but to also get to know her over the past year. This shoot truly reflects her personality – both their personalities – and the creative, artistic flair behind it all. Thumbs up for the photographer & of course, the now married couple! Congratulations to all parties! xoxoxo
