A lovely reader emailed me last week in need of ideas for her Barossa Valley wedding. The couple want their country wedding to incorporate a vintage style with touches like shabby chic furniture, sweet decorations and fairy lights plus perhaps centered around the beautiful shade of vintage green.
Inspired by the vintage print of Elizabeth and Geoffrey‘s bridesmaids gowns and spring bouquets, I designed an inspiration board around a rustic winery wedding theme. Bouquets of unstructured blooms, table settings in soft white linens, masses of greenery and sweet, cold cocktails. Encompassing the beauty of the winery region, the seating card placement uses a champagne riddling rack with recycled bottles, bottles of red wine are tagged with the special meaning they have to the couple and a pane of glass in an old frame and a chalk marker set out the menu for the evening. As dusk falls, the night sky is lit up with fairy lights strung between the trees.

Lovely pictures! My favorite is the brides hair!
Love the rustic look!
