Oh how I adore jewels – the different creations, the splendid ways that natural beauties are crafted into something rather spectacular. Madeleine Brown is a jeweller I have loved for a long time (since I wrote about her pieces in 2009) Madeleine launched her online store last year which is full of her special creations- sunburst earrings, doily inspired brooches and earrings, Gothic style earrings. All available to purchase and have shipped to your door.

But then there’s her rings and oh, how I love Madeleine’s rings! She takes the brief and the personality of the couple and creates something that is true and personal to them. I love the first ring- where the wedder slips neatly inside the engagement band. The first ring on this entry is a recreated vintage ring of the purchaser’s grandmother. Madeleine recreated it to retain it’s vintage feel (and of course the stones!) and make it sturdy to wear. I love reading Madeleine’s blog where she shares the stories behind each piece.
