Tamila and Jeremy

I love this sweet engagement session submitted by idropphoto. When I think of engagement shoots in California, they’re always filled with lots of sunshine – which is wonderful! But it’s nice to see something a little different. Tamila and Jeremy’s engagement shoot is filled with luscious green fields and mossy landscapes A little delicious don’t you think? (and how much do I love Tamila’s boots?)

Tamila recalls how she met her fiance Jeremy. “Jeremy and I met in the college group of our home church. I was new to the church and still a senior in high school when I joined the young adults group. Jeremy was the worship leader so I noticed him every Tuesday and Sunday. We hadn’t become friends until later. However, Jeremy’s first distinct memory of me was at our Christmas party when it was time to tear down the room, I had stood on a chair to take down the lights and my foot got caught coming down, so I fell right off and hit my head against the wall. Jeremy had thought I hurt myself real bad until I started to laugh, then he thought I was crazy 🙂 A few months later my dad had passed away and that was when I started to get to know Jeremy more since his dad had passed away a few years prior.

Soon we began to hang out in groups together and it wasn’t until almost a year later that Jeremy started to notice me and pray about me. I had also been praying about him. January 13, 2010 was the day he had opened up and said that he had wanted to pursue me. That was the day we began dating and 10 months later on November 21, 2010 Jeremy sang me a song asking for me to follow him and be his wife! The sweetest and greatest day it was! “
