What is your favourite after five drink?
I’m a Pimms girl, but super-easy to please. If there’s no Pimms, any old super-dry white with bubbles will please my celebration palette!
Your favourite weekend getaway?
Anywhere in Tokyo. We moved here nine months ago and exploring this massive city is a work in progress every weekend.
Favourite restaurant?
I love Marios in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast where I get my favourite hit of Italian on every holiday back home, and Gus’ Cafe in Canberra holds the keys to my heart.
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Usually cold toast leftover from my kids and copious cups of soupy black coffee.
Your favourite wedding story?
One of the weddings I organised was for a beautiful couple, Connie and James. Connie’s family is Italian and James’ is Irish. The guest list ran to about 400, with Connie’s family taking about 90% of the invitations. It was the warmest, most loving wedding I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend, and I loved it when James’ Dad said in his speech that he felt their family had instantly quadrupled in size because they felt so welcomed by this big Italian clan. Gorgeous!
