As is tradition (see the 2007 countdown here, 2008 countdown here and the 2009 countdown here) every year on New Year’s Eve I count down the most memorable celebrity weddings of the year!
2010 was a big year in weddings, though by all “royal” reports, 2011 might just be even better! Here’s a look at some of the most memorable weddings of 2010!
Kate Ritchie & Stuart Webb

Hands down my favourite- Kate, who I suppose like many I “grew up with” while watching on her on TV and Stuart wed in a classically elegant ceremony on a Tasmanian estate. Kate looked like the classic beauty she is in a strapless Steven Khalil wedding gown.
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky

Another classically beautiful wedding was the wedding of Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinksy. Chelsea wore a gorgeous Vera Wang gown for the Jewish ceremony.
Hillary Duff & Mike Comrie

Hillary Duff married Mike Comrie in a candlelit ceremony earlier this year. She wore a gorgeous mermaid Vera Wang gown with a bouquet of dahlias. Hillary changed into a relaxed Marchesa strapless gown to celebrate at the reception.
Anna Paquin & Steven Moyer

True Blood star Anna Paquin married her co star Steven Moyer in a Malibu ceremony. The couple celebrated with a beach house reception.
Alicia Keys to Swizz Beats

Marrying in the balmy weather of Corsica, the pregnant Alicia Keys wore a Grecian goddess style one shouldered Vera Wang gown with a bouquet of purple calla lilies. Her look was completed with a beaded headband.
Crown Princess Victoria to Daniel Westling

In the royal wedding of the year (because we all know what 2011 will bring!) Sweden celebrated it’s first royal wedding since 1976 with the marriage of Crown Princess Victoria to Daniel Westling. The couple married at Stockholm’s cathedral before leaving in a horse drawn carriage for their castle reception.
Miranda Kerr to Orlando Bloom

This one was so secret there are no photos to share! Miranda Kerr married sweetheart Orlando Bloom in a private ceremony in the USA. Miranda wore a vintage Collette Dinnigan gown over her new baby bump.
Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green married in a ceremony on the beach in Hawaii. Brian’s 8 year old son was the only guest at the ceremony at which Megan wore an Armani Prive gown.
Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher

It was a traditional Southern USA wedding when Carried Underwood wed beau Mike Fisher. Carrie wore a Chantilly lace and silk organza Monique Lhuillier gown for the ceremony before changing into a cocktail length frock for the reception.
Nicole Ritchie & Joel Madden

Marrying only two weeks ago at her father’s Beverly Hills mansion, Nicole Ritchie is rumored to have worn three gowns on her wedding day. She danced to “Ballerina Girl” as sung by her father ands an elephant made an appearance!
