Bec & Brad
With the sun bearing down, why not a sparkling summer wedding? Bec and Brad married right in the heart of Sydney’s beaches- Bass and Flinders point in Cronulla.
Brad? Well he’s from halfway across the world! Canada to be exact! Bec says, “We met at a a bar in Sydney, Brad was on a 1 year working holiday from Canada. We dated for 3 months until Brad had to return to Canada we did long distance for nearly 6 months (I went to visit him once for a 3 week holiday) I then decided I would move to Canada to be with him. Here we are 5 years later and happily married.”
Photos this morning are by Welsch Photography and have such a fun mood to them- just like the wedding!
Bec wore a gown from Maggie Sottero, while her bridesmaids wore blue knee length frocks from Paco PM.
Bec walked down the aisle to ‘Café del Mar’ – Northern Lux.
The blue and white bouquets were styled by Bella Blooms.
Bec and Brad celebrated with their guests at Summersalt Restaurant in Cronulla. Bec says, “Summersalt is a restaurant that faces the ocean it was the perfect venue for our relaxed beach wedding.” One of Bec’s favourite moments was dancing with her father. “Having a father daughter dance was really special to me as I am the only girl in my family.”
The couple chose a croquembouche for their wedding cake. Bec says “”We danced to ‘I’m in love with you’ by Joy Williams. The words of the song fit our relationship very well. It was a very special moment for us, it was lovely to have that time to just be together and enjoy being husband and wife for the first time.”
Congratulations Bec & Brad! Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us on Polka Dot Bride! Thank you also to Welsch Photography for sharing today’s photographs!
