Simone and Simon

A funky engagement shoot for you this Saturday! From the super cool photographer Steven Elmer. Steven shared such bubbly words that (sorry Steven!) I had to share them all with you to describe the shoot!

“I am so excited. Julian and I went out for an engagement shoot. It is a bit of a late one, but it was still rad. Simon and Simone are by far two of the most insanely cool, calm and collected people that I have ever had the chance to meet. When they first arrived in their sharp little Toyota Hatchback, I knew that they were going to be the best couple that we have both had a chance to shoot in a LONG time, if not yet.

After we got chatting, about camera’s (Simon is an avid photographer as well) and boat shoes (which he rocked out) we soon found our groove, we all talked about shooting a real contemporary, minimalist style shoot. They both brought awesome props, an old KORG Synth and a Holga Camera. Needless to say that, with their flare, their city style and awesome smiles, it wasn’t too long before their true and straight out obvious love for each other was showing.

Simone and Simon just married in a black tie wedding and chose  Steven and Julian (of Kariz Matik Photography) to shoot it together!
