Shiva & Ali
A little something different from Canada this morning- Shiva & Ali planned their sweet wedding in a week!
Nordica Photography, who captured today’s lovely wedding said, “From our perspective, the special part of this wedding story was the timing of it. The couple got engaged on a Sunday, contacted us on a Tuesday for the photography and by the weekend, they were married. It was remarkably quick and considering how astonishingly beautiful and smooth the wedding went, they both should be commended!”
Shiva & Ali were married at The Fish House in Stanley Park. Cole and Jakob of Nordica recalled, “The wedding took place on a Saturday at The Fish House in Stanley Park. If you are not familiar with this park, it is known as ‘Canada’s Jewel’, and for very good reason. The park is absolutely stunning and considering it’s proximity to the downtown core, it’s remarkable. Between the sandy beaches, old-growth forest and spectacular mountainous views, it’s a very popular wedding location.
The wedding itself was, by design, very small and very personal. The bride and groom wanted to keep the wedding that way, and it created results that were very intimate. Just how we love it! The white dress worn by the bride was very traditional, and the rings that were exchanged were absolutely beautiful. Overall, if any bride and groom were to plan a wedding on short-notice, keeping it simple in this fashion is a recommendation that we’d suggestion without question.”
Jakob and Cole say, “The story from the day that we gathered was more of a lesson actually. Weddings do not need to be over-the-top in extravagance to be absolutely beautiful. This couple knew what they wanted for their wedding day, and they kept it simple. We really liked that, and we feel that simplicity complimented the photos.”
Congratulations Ali & Shiva! Thank you to Nordica Photography for sharing this morning’s images!
