I am so ready for another brilliant week on Polka Dot Bride. I had an exciting week last week full of inspiring moments and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you! We have divine weddings coming up this week and great little ideas!

But first, it’s time to give a special nod to our fantastic vendors! Ms Polka Dot’s Directory is rapidly growing full of fantastic Australian and international wedding vendors of a high standard who are all willing to think outside the box and work with you- our imaginative, creative polkadotettes!

This week’s vendor of the week is Perth photographer Anna Rose Photography! Jen is passionate about what she does and it shows- her love of photography flows through every aspect of her life (her best friend works out of the same office). Not only that, but Jen? She’s a sassy lady with a brilliant sense of humor!

Her captures leave me breathless- they’re romantic, full of light and capture those poignant moments with such grace.

What is your favourite after five drink?

Something sparkly! I love champagne and firmly believe you shouldn’t save it for a celebration 🙂

Your favourite weekend getaway?

As a busy working mum I cherish my down time spent with my husband and kids. WA’s beautiful south west never fails to relax me. An ideal weekend would be hubby + the kids+ a great book. The kids could play on the beach while I read and sip wine. Sounds perfect!

Favourite restaurant?

I love our local pub. They have a great beer garden that is child friendly and even better we can walk there. The food is simple and delicious and I have been going there with my husband for 10 years. Not fancy, but my favourite.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

Sunday morning breakkys are my favourite. Bacon, scrambled eggs, tomato and toast with a big mug of coffee. Now if I could just convince someone else to cook it for me…

Your favourite wedding story?

One of my beautiful bride’s walked up the aisle to discover her sick grandfather hadn’t arrived at the wedding yet. She whispered to the celebrant to pause the proceedings until he could get there. Her grandfather died a few weeks later, but she was so happy he had been able to witness her wedding vows.
